South Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) said it had awarded Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) a $573 million contract for 20 TA-50 Block 2 aircraft.
The agency said the jets will be delivered by 2024.
The country currently has 22 TA-50s.
