Thai AirAsia X relocates Bangkok operations to Don Mueang Airport
Thai AirAsia X has successfully relocated its Bangkok operations to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK).
The low-cost carrier said that the move was made to provide better convenience and connectivity to its travelers.
The successful relocation was marked with a welcome ceremony for guests arriving on flight XJ761 from Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) who arrived at the airport to a special celebration organized by Thai AirAsia X and supported by Don Mueang Airport and AOT Ground Aviation Services.
From October 1, 2024, Thai AirAsia X will be operating all outbound and inbound services from Bangkok Don Mueang Airport, providing improved connectivity and convenience for guests traveling onto other Thai AirAsia or AirAsia Group destinations.
While all Thai AirAsia X flights now operate from DMK airport, four Thai AirAsia (FD) domestic routes will continue to operate out of Suvarnabhumi Airport (while also being available from Don Mueang):
Hat Yai International Airport (KDY)
Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX)
Phuket International Airport (HKT)
Krabi International Airport (KBV)
