Dassault Aviation – C.Legrand
Initiated and organized by Dassault Aviation since 2014, the Dassault UAV Challenge is aimed at engineering school and university students in France. The student challenge is based on designing a drone, automating and optimizing it to get closer to the issues faced by an aircraft manufacturer.
Based around mixed teams of 2 to 6 students per school, the competition brings into play a wide range of skills: aeromodeling, automation, programming, electronics, machine learning, project and team management.
After several weeks of selection, more than 6 months of design, development and testing follow, followed by 2 days of live team competition in April or May.
Finally, the challenge ends with an exceptional day to honor the lucky winners, immersing them in Dassault Aviation teams.
Registration for the 2025 edition is open until September 29 inclusive via : Dassault-Uav-Challenge@dassault-aviation.com
