Starting today and throughout the summer, the logo celebrating the Bicentennial of the Carabinieri will be visible on the Alitalia fleet, about 130 planes used on the routes of medium and long range, on some passenger train "Italo” NTV and "Frecciarossa” Trenitalia, as well as within the 12 "Italian Homes” and on the portal "Italolive".
“The initiative, made possible by the generosity of the three companies in Italy, want to ideally represent the closeness of the weapon to all citizens who, for any reason, they "travel".” Explains a note of the weapon.
The logo is made up of some distinctive features of the weapon:
the grenade with neck and orecchietta, that goes to the Center embossed Monogram formed by the letters RE (Italian Republic) intertwined, and topped with flame. The frieze, In addition to being present on the cap of each Policeman from 1833, has always been a symbol of all the members of the Carabinieri and invokes concepts of knightly honor and military form.
Under the flame, on dark blue flowing list, the phrase – created by then-Captain Casey Merged on the occasion of the centenary of the weapon and granted which heraldic motto by Victor Emmanuel III the 10 November 1933 – "FOREVER FAITHFUL” uppercase characters in Roman lapidary letters gold color off. At the base of the logo is the foundation year of the gun, 1814, and what of the bicentennial, 2014, and in the middle of another list with the national colors.
