Emirates deploys A350 with new Business Class on Mauritius route from November 1
Emirates has announced plans to replace the Boeing 777 on one of its three daily Dubai–Mauritius flights with its newest aircraft, the Airbus A350, as of November 1, 2026.
The A350 will take over flights EK709 and EK710 between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU) in Mauritius.
Emirates’ other two daily flights to the island will continue to be operated by Airbus A380s.
Daily A350 schedule
All times are local:
EK709: departs Dubai at 07:55, arrives in Mauritius at 14:40
EK710: departs Mauritius at 18:30, arrives in Dubai at 01:10 the next day
298 seats across three cabins, with new Business Class on the route
The A350 seats 298 passengers: 32 in Business Class, 28 in Premium Economy and 238 in Economy. It brings Emirates’ newest Business Class product to the Mauritius route for the first time, along with updated onboard technology.
For Oomar Ramtoola, Emirates’ Manager for the Indian Ocean Islands, the A350 marks another important step in the airline’s investment in Mauritius. He said that, together with the two daily A380 flights, the move shows the importance of the island within Emirates’ network.
