Emirates to fly A350 on all Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City flights from December
Emirates will expand its Airbus A350 operations in Vietnam, deploying the aircraft on all four of its daily flights to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City by December 1, 2026.
The airline announced on October 28, 2026, that it will add a second daily A350 service between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) from November 1, 2026, on flights EK364/365.
From December 1, 2026, the A350 will also take over both daily services between Dubai and Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport (HAN), on flights EK394/395 and EK388/389.
This will mark the aircraft’s debut in Hanoi and bring Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin to the Vietnamese capital for the first time.
“Vietnam continues to be an important market for Emirates, and these enhancements build on the airline’s ongoing investments here,” said Wahid Albalooshi, Country Manager of Emirates Vietnam. He noted that the airline launched flights to Da Nang International Airport (DAD) in 2025, giving it three gateways in the country.
Albalooshi added that the move will give travelers a more consistent experience, “not only between Vietnam and Dubai, but also to other popular cities served by the Emirates Airbus A350.”
Inside Emirates’ A350
The A350 is the newest aircraft type in Emirates’ all-widebody fleet. It seats 298 passengers in three cabins: Business, Premium Economy and Economy.
Business Class is arranged in a 1-2-1 layout, giving every passenger direct aisle access. The fully lie-flat seats include a personal minibar and wireless charging, and passengers can help themselves to refreshments from a snack area at the back of the cabin.
Premium Economy offers leather reclining seats with extra legroom, adjustable headrests, in-seat charging and a 13.3-inch screen. Economy Class seats also have 13.3-inch 4K touchscreens for the airline’s ICE inflight entertainment system.

Travelers with a valid US, UK or Schengen visit or tourist visa, as well as US Green Card holders, may also qualify. Conditions apply, and Emirates advises passengers to check the latest UAE entry requirements before traveling.
