Smartwings adds more schduled destinations to winter 2025/26 timetable
Smartwings, the largest carrier in the Czech Republic, has announced a major expansion of its European scheduled route network to operate alongside its extensive charter program for winter 2025. The airline has developed rapidly since the winding down of its Czech Airlines brand in 2024, which the Smartwings Group owned.
The latest announcement by Smartwings will see the carrier add another two destinations to its winter flight schedule. The company is launching a regular service between Prague and Bilbao, Spain, on October 24, 2025, and between Prague and Toulouse, France, on October 25, 2025.
The new services to both Bilbao and Toulouse will operate twice a week from Prague. The flight between Prague and Bilbao will be in operation on Mondays and Fridays, while flights to Toulouse are scheduled for Wednesdays and Saturdays. The two new cities join a growing list of scheduled services to points across Europe that the airline is introducing to help it with seasonality in the quieter winter months, when its aircraft are not needed for inclusive tour flights to European hotspots.
