FOSA Cognac-Châteaubernard Air Show
Head to BA 709 in Cognac-Châteaubernard for the 2026 edition of the annual air show hosted by the Fondation des œuvres sociales de l’air (FOSA), featuring a stellar lineup—May 30 and 31, 2026.
A rotating event (held each year at a different air base), the FOSA meet (which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year) is not landing on the runways of BA 709 in Cognac-Châteaubernard for the first time, as it was already the case in 2022. Once again this year, some 20,000 people are expected each day for an identical program on Saturday and Sunday. Speaking of the program, this year’s lineup promises to be classic yet robust—and Dassault Aviation is a partner of the event.
On the ground, aviation enthusiasts and curious onlookers alike will be able to enjoy the traditional activities (including numerous booths) and aircraft on static display. In the air, a wide variety of aircraft will take off from the two runways at the military facility. Among them are the MQ-9 Reaper drone, the Alpha jets of the Patrouille de France, the Mustang X-Ray aerobatic team, aircraft from the Cognac Fighter Pilot School, the Rafale Solo Display, the A400M, the Mirage 2000, and many others.
All of this to “provide assistance to personnel from the Air and Space Force, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Météo-France, and their families” in need. A spectacular event and a good cause… Everything you need to get there!
