HH-212: l’Aeronautica Militare saluta l’iconico elicottero dopo oltre 40 anni di attività operativa

GRAZZANISE (CASERTA). Si è tenuta oggi, presso l’aeroporto militare di Grazzanise (Caserta), sede del 9° Stormo “Francesco Baracca”, la cerimonia di “phase-out” dell’elicottero HH-212A, che dopo oltre 40 anni di attività in numerose missioni fuori dai confini nazionali ed  in campo nazionale, termina la sua vita operativa in Aeronautica Militare. Entrato in servizio all’inizio degli anni ’80, l’iconico elicottero ha concluso oggi la sua vita operativa dopo aver volato per oltre 180 mila ore e aver contribuito al salvataggio di centinaia di persone in pericolo di vita.
