Qatar Executive to fly Gulfstream G650ER fleet with Starlink connectivity
Qatar Airways’ private jet charter division, Qatar Executive, has released plans for its fleet of Gulfstream G650ER to fly with Starlink connectivity.
Qatar Executive made the announcement on December 12, 2024, as MEBAA Show 2024, at Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) in Dubai, opens its doors for day one of the business aviation event.
The first Starlink-equipped Gulfstream G650ER will begin flying on December 14, 2024, and Qatar Executive plans to have the first five flying with the technology by May 2025.
The private jet charter firm plans to roll out Elon Musk’s Starlink across the rest of its Gulfstream fleet over the next 18 months.

Qatar Executive said that Starlink technology will set a “benchmark” in business aviation, providing customers with a Wi-Fi service that runs speeds of up to 350 megabits per second.

A Qatar Executive Gulfstream G650ER is among the many private jets showcased at this year’s MEBAA 2024.
