U.S. military heading to Chitose Air Base, Japan this month for training
The U.S. miliatry will be conducting training at Chitose Air Base, Japan later this month, the Hokkaido Defense Bureau has disclosed.

However, it did not reveal which branch of the American forces is deploying up north in Japan. The number of aircraft and personnel has not been determined yet.
This will be another aviation training relocation program that the U.S. forces in Japan have been conducting for the past few years. The objectives of the program is to strengthen the U.S.-Japan security alliance and interoperability between both countries.
All personnel heading to Chitose will have to undergo PCR tests and obtain negative results for COVID-19 before they can travel to Hokkaido.
