Embraer posts strongest second-quarter deliveries in 16 years
Embraer delivered 65 airplanes in the second quarter of 2026, marking its strongest second-quarter delivery performance in 16 years.
The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer said deliveries were up 48% from the first quarter of 2026 and 7% higher than the same period last year.
The 2Q26 total included 45 executive jets and 20 commercial aircraft.
Business jets accounted for the largest share of deliveries in the quarter. Embraer said it handed over four Phenom 100s, 20 Phenom 300s, nine Praetor 500s and 12 Praetor 600s.
Commercial aviation deliveries included 10 E175s, four E190-E2s and six E195-E2s.
The company said first-half deliveries reached 109 aircraft, up about 20% from the 91 aircraft delivered in the first half of 2025.
Embraer attributed the increase to continued progress in its production leveling initiatives, which are intended to reduce the heavy delivery concentration that aircraft manufacturers often face late in the year.
Embraer delivered 44 aircraft in the first quarter, which the company said at the time was its best first-quarter delivery performance in 10 years.
In 1Q26, deliveries included 29 business jets, 10 airliners, one KC-390 Millennium and four A-29 Super Tucanos.
There were no Defense & Security deliveries in the second quarter, according to Embraer’s latest delivery report.
The company kept its full-year 2026 delivery guidance unchanged.
Embraer expects to deliver between 80 and 85 commercial aircraft in 2026, compared with 78 in 2025. The company also expects to deliver between 160 and 170 executive jets, compared with 155 last year.
To reach the low end of that guidance, Embraer will need to deliver at least 50 commercial aircraft and 86 executive jets in the second half of 2026.
